September Is Thrive Month!!
Becoming Forever Fit

As I write this edition of the LDT Letter, Labor Day is quickly approaching. Summer 2024 will soon come to an end. And that means that the holiday season is just around the corner.
For most of us, the holidays mean one thing…Eating Season! Parties…family gatherings…holiday treats! It all adds up to a few extra pounds every season.
Then, in January we make the annual New Year’s resolution to start over and get healthy.
Except we don’t!
Most guys that sign up for the annual gym membership are done with it by March. The membership costs usually outweigh the benefits.
And we’re stuck with the extra pounds we added over holidays until the cycle starts anew next year.
But, what if there was a better way?
Well, there is a better way, and I call it the ThriveLife.
Let’s have a deeper look.
What is the ThriveLife?
The ThriveLife is the smarter, not harder way for Over-50 Guys to lose weight, get fit, and live a longer, healthier life - with no crazy diets or killer workouts. It puts food to work for you to help you become leaner, while using enjoyable, sustainable exercise to make you stronger. The ThriveLife is the way to your longer, healthier future.
Let’s unpack this quickly:
It’s designed specifically for Over-50 Guys like you and me. (Hint, it works equally well for Under-50 Guys!)
The ThriveLife has three goals:
Help you lose weight
Get fitter and stronger
Live a longer and healthier life
It's not about restrictive diets and grueling workouts that tend to cause guys to give up on other types of fitness approaches.
The ThriveLife teaches us how to make food work for us - like losing weight while eating hearty meals.
The ThriveLife relies on enjoyable, yet effective exercise you’ll do more often.
The ThriveLife emphasizes activities you can do for the rest of your life. This means what makes you healthy now will keep you healthy then. It’s your key to being forever fit!
The ThriveLife is a framework, not a formula. It can be tailored to your specific lifestyle. Each guy’s ThriveLife is different because each guy is different.
You can start building your ThriveLife with six simple moves. And over the next 30 days, you can go from being a Fitness Zero to a ThriveLife Hero!
To help you do that, I’ve taken the liberty to proclaim September as Thrive Month! Over the next 30 days, I’m going to share with you the six moves that will help you launch your own, custom-made ThriveLife.
Does this mean that you’ll achieve all your fitness goals in the next 30 days?
No, of course not!
But, it will give you the road map to a fitter and healthier future following a smarter, not harder way. You’ll learn the strategies and tactics you need to lose weight, get fit and stay fit for the rest of your life.
Without being constantly hungry…
While eating lots of good, healthy food…
Doing exercises you actually enjoy…
I started my ThriveLife journey ten years ago. I was a 56-year-old workaholic who was 70 pounds overweight. My doctor called me a poster child for a heart attack or stroke.
My ThriveLife enabled me to lose those 70 pounds in less than 7 months! I became leaner, stronger, and healthier. Today, ten years later, I’m still at my goal weight and I’m stronger than I was then.
That’s what my ThriveLife did for me!
